World of Warcraft: Legion Review

Ragtag Nation, the Legion has returned to Azeroth once again and it’s up to you hero to answer the call and defend it.
Welcome to the anticipated latest expansion of WoW. Legion has finally launched, to many players delight. As a veteran player dating to the beginning of the WoW vanilla days I can say that I am impressed with this expansion. Legion feels like the days of the Return of the Lich King. It seems like Blizzard has listened to their fans and has given them at least some of the things that they’ve been missing. First and foremost the reskinning and new environments look amazing. A great amount of detail went into the creation of Legion as well as a very in-depth story line that branches off into alliance and horde storylines, as well as each individual class story lines.

The new addition of the demon hunter gives players a new perspective and story line of the second expansion, The Burning Crusade.

Blizzard also introduces artifact weapons for all classes. Now I know, I know ‘If it’s an artifact, how can everyone have one?’ Each player is treated as the leader of their class and therefore owns the artifact weapon of that class. Each artifact is fully customizable to the player with items and artifact powers that are found in Azeroth. Blizzard has said that there will be at least 10 new dungeons and 2 raids with Legion and a new mini raid system for a 5 man group. If you were once a fan of WoW and were looking for the right time to come back and try it again I would say that the time is now! This expansion gets a well deserved “A” rating in my book.

I hope to see you defending Azeroth soon.
