Welcome to the world of The Witcher 3, Wild Hunt.
The Witcher 3 offers many hours of truly enjoyable gameplay. I myself have over 80+ hours of playing The Witcher 3 and I can say that whether your interests are; exploration of the open world (easily 20x larger than the Witcher 2), going on monster hunts, or just playing a great story, The Witcher 3 has you covered. The tutorial built into the beginning of the game allows players to easily get started with minimal issues. The main story line seems to take a while to get going, however, there are plenty of side quests along the way. This keeps everything moving nicely until you’ve become completely submerged in the game and story itself. Because of the open world environment, the main story and side quests can be accomplished in any order. As far as the environment and gameplay of the Witcher 3 goes, it’s simply amazing. CD Projekt Red has definitely enhanced their graphic detail with this game. A couple of things worth mentioning first, however. Your combat success is not based on a specific or correct attack order like some games. Success is based more on the player’s variety of actions (skills and spells) that they have. Some of the monsters you hunt even have their own lore and offer quite a unique challenge for the player.
The Witcher 3 is definitely a great RPG for anyone who’s looking to lose themselves in a game for a few hours at a time. I feel that it deserves a solid A rating, but just remember that the game is rated M for mature players due to context.
